I’m a small scale, 5* licensed breeder of Fox Red Labradors and Working Cocker Spaniels based in South East Suffolk. I’ve been breeding between 1 and 2 litters a year since 2013. I have 2 Labradors, Purdey (11) who’s retired and her daughter Foxy (5) along with 3 spaniels, Willow (5),her daughter Kiki (3) and Jessie (4). Jessie is the daughter of Rosa who has now retired and lives with a friend since she “borrowed” her during lockdown.
My dogs are all, very much a part of our family. They live in the house with us and when they have litters they are whelped in one of the bedrooms until about 4wks of age when they move into the conservatory to a larger space. The adult dogs are all flea and tick treated with Simparica on a monthly basis and wormed with Milbemax every 3 months.
Jessie had her 2nd litter on 11th April. She was wormed daily with Panacur from day 40 of her pregnancy until 3 days post whelping and she was given folic acid from the commencement of her season in preparation from her pregnancy.
She gave birth to 7 healthy puppies, without complication having 4 boys and 3 girls. All puppies are liver roan.
The stud used for this mating was, Hawkvalley Kraken of Cedarose (Enzo) - owned by Michelle Lloyd who actively works her dogs. Enzo and Jessie both have current clear BVA/KC certificates including 0 Gonioscopy for Enzo and 1 for Jessie. They are both hipscored with good grades and they are both clear of prcd-PRA, FN, AMS, AON, DM, EIC, PP and GSD.
Enzo also has 0 elbow scores.
The puppies will be 95% toilet trained, wormed and flea treated, health checked, 1st vaccinated with Nobivac 4 and microchipped.
They will have 4/5 weeks insurance
