10 month old male jack Russell looking for a forever home. We have had Alfie since he was 12 weeks and he comes from a family of working dogs. He has been castrated and had all vaccines. He is a very loving dog towards humans in the household but has behavioural issues involving strangers and other animals. He is very reactive to people who come to the house and has nipped a couple of them. He is reactive on walks (on lead) and would need to be trained in that regard, he has shown minor improvement here so far. The main reason we need to rehome him is that we have a female jack who is 14 and Alfie doesn't get on with her. He has attacked our other dog twice due to resource guarding (food involved). So he needs to be homed in a household with no other pets or children. He has had sessions with a dog behaviour trainer who has said he needs constant training. He is on anti anxiety medication which has calmed him down a bit, and is majority of the time muzzled. We have explored every avenue to give him the best chance, and with a heavy heart are having to resort to rehoming him.
