Our girl Pedra has whelped a fabulous litter 7 of Braque du Bourbonnais, 4 boys and 3 girls. 4 puppies reserved from our waiting list, 3 available to only the best pet and/or working homes.
Puppies are substantial chunky pups with excellent bone. They will suit both pet and working homes.
Sire - Flixraign Armand
Dam - Perdrix de la Benigousse.
Both mum and dad are hip scored and have the most wonderful temperaments.
Both parents and puppies will be registered with the Irish Kennel Club which affords the same recognition and pedigree recording as the UK KC.
The Braque Du Bourbonnais is a French pointer from the hunt/point/retrieve gundog group, originating from the Bourbonnais region of France. The breed was very nearly wiped out following the Second World War but thanks to two dedicated breeders over in France, the breed was revived during the 1970’s.
Braque Du Bourbonnais are a rare breed here in the UK with only approximately 170 in the country. As such, the breed is not yet recognised by the UK Kennel Club however they are by the FCI (Europe) and are very popular on the continent and in the U.S.A.
We are licensed breeders with North Devon Council and puppies are raised in our family home amongst children, our German Shorthaired Pointers and other Braque Du Bourbonnais and are well socialised by the time they leave for new homes.
Puppies are weaned straight from mum onto Nutriment Raw Formula and goats milk, are strong solid pups and come with a full contract and a lifetime of support.
