Description
This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to homelessness we are sadly looking for a new forever home for Marley.
He is 1/2 GSD, 1/4 Rottweiler and 1/4 Deerhound. Marley is 8 years old, but he is still full of energy, enjoys his walks, and absolutely loves being around people. He is a true gentle giant: very loving, calm, and naturally docile. He thrives on affection and is happiest when he’s close to his family.
He is excellent with children, including very young children, and has always been patient, tolerant, and gentle with them. Safety around kids has never been a concern.
Marley gets along well with other dogs (I am a dog sitter so he has been around hundreds of dogs); however, he does not like other dogs approaching his food when he's eating (he's fine with people) so feeding would need to be managed separately in a multi-dog household.
He would suit a loving home where he has enough space to relax, regular walks, and people who will give him the time and affection he deserves...where he'll be treated as part of the family.
Finding the right home for Marley is the most important thing to us. We're heartbroken that it's come to this after years of battling with the landlord.
He has so much love left to give, and this decision is being made purely with his wellbeing in mind as we have no idea where we'll be and we can't have dogs in our temporary accommodation and he deserves some stability and peace in the last half of his life.
