Description
Barney is a 8 year old chocolate F1 cockapoo who needs another home full of love.
I have tears streaming down my face writing this. Barney has been my baby since he was 6 weeks old. He is the most loving, loyal boy who I adore.
Unfortunately he’s not coping with my baby well at all since he has been walking and talking and Barney has shown aggression towards him. He is nervous in my toddlers company and unfortunately, unlike my other dog, he won’t just take himself away. This has now caused an unhappy home as I’m having to keep Barney locked away and that’s not fair on him because he’s so loving and so playful and loves nothing more than a cuddle with me or a run on the beach but I can’t do that anymore and he’s just not able to live with my toddler as I can’t trust him fully anymore.
I’m really hoping for someone’s sincere help and want for Barney. I won’t see him go to just any home. This is heartbreaking for me, but I know in my heart this is the best thing for my boys.
Lived with another dog all his life, great with other dogs. Playful but equally will chill and loves a hug. In very good shape, great fitness level. He’s happy to walk miles or not at all. He’s very easy going but can get anxious and definitely hates fireworks! Faultless recall and travels in car well. No medical issues ever. Castrated and microchipped.
