Freckles is in foster Norfolk, UK
Freckles is a curious, active boy who loves exploring and meeting new friends—both canine and human. He’s been unfazed by the bigger dogs in his foster home, quickly joining in play with them.
Freckles’s is affectionate and enjoys cuddles, often putting his paws up to ask for attention. His foster says how much he enjoys the company of others, so a home with a playful canine friend would suit him well.
Freckles is making great progress in his foster home. He’s learning boundaries like “no” and “off,” and while he’s still a bit wary of loud noises, he’s adapting well.
Freckles loves toys and playtime but will need supervision, as he’s a chewer and enjoys investigating everything.
He has begun going on short walks outside, but he’s still building confidence and sometimes prefers to turn around and return home.
Freckles settles well in his crate, especially when given a little time to adjust, and is gradually gaining independence—he now manages stairs by himself!
Freckles is a little whirlwind of fun, racing around the garden with his doggy friends and bringing smiles to his foster family. He’s inquisitive, loves exploring, and enjoys a good cuddle after playtime. His foster describes him as an “amazing little character” who will make a wonderful companion for an active, patient family.
IDEAL HOME:
Freckles would suit an active, understanding family with experience of dogs, and who already have a playful doggy friend who he can gain confidence from. A secure garden is essential for his explorations. His adopters should be committed to continuing his training, especially with crate use and supervised time alone, as he’s still a young, inquisitive chewer!

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Freckles is neutered. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
