It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m looking for a forever home for Daisy, my beautiful Golden Retriever puppy.
Daisy is an absolute love-bug extremely affectionate, people-focused and always wanting to be close. The only reason for rehoming is due to a marriage breakdown and the reality that we currently have 4 dogs, and our Shih Tzu (Cookie) has been not been kind to Daisy, which is causing her a bit of stress. This is no fault of Daisy’s and she deserves a calmer home where she can thrive.
🌼 Daisy’s personality
• Super affectionate, gentle and loving
• Great with children, but she’s still a puppy so can be bouncy/playful and doesn’t always realise her size
• Good with other dogs (our Shih Tzu situation is specific to our home dynamics and hasn’t changed Daisy’s friendly nature)
• Happy, healthy, eats well, and has no medical issues
Training & routine
• Toilet trained
• Walks on lead (lead-walked only so far)
• Sits and listens on command
• Recall is coming along well with treats (best in secure areas / low distractions)
• She doesn’t like being left for long periods, so she needs a home where someone is around most of the time
I’m only looking for a genuine forever home, ideally with:
• Experience with large breeds / young retrievers
• Time for training, exercise and company (she’s a baby at heart)
• A calm home environment where she can feel settled and safe
• I’ll consider different setups case-by-case, as the right match matters more than anything
I’m happy to do a video call with anyone seriously interested (and I can share more videos too)
I will ask a few questions — not to be awkward, but because she genuinely means the world to us and I need to know she’s safe and loved.
