Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I am looking to rehome my 5 year old Dobermann.
Zara has been in our care for a year now and she is an excellent dog, when we originally got Zara she was so severely abused and malnourished, we rescued two Dobermann and unfortunately one of them had to be put to sleep due to the level of abuse they incurred.
Zara is an excellent dog, extremely loyal and loving, but she has her quirks. -
Zara has severe separation anxiety and needs somebody who can provide her a safe space with enough attention which unfortunately we cannot provide anymore for her. Zara is a very co dependant dog, and she relies far too much on my dog and hides behind him, which is not good for her confidence. We believe that she needs a home with no other dogs, she gets along brilliantly with other dogs, she has been tested with cats and children and is really well behaved with children especially, but due to her trauma and her reaction to loud noises and behaviours she would benefit greatly in a home with older children.
Unfortunately due to Zara’s past and her trauma, we are working closely with our vet and unfortunately a lot of the therapies we are trying aren’t working due to her living conditions currently (our other dog) and we are now at the end of the road
We want Zara to benefit and try in another home, but our main condition to rehoming her is keeping in close contact with the new owners, we want to know she is okay and if it comes to it and it doesn’t work out, we will take her back.
Our price only applies to ensure she is going to a suitable home who can afford the care she needs.
