I have available a fawn tortie female British Shorthair. She is extremely shy but gets on with other cats. We kept her back to help her overcome her anxiety with humans but she has never come out of her shell with us. She will lounge around with our other queens but as soon as any person appears she will run off behind a shelf. She was always timid and shy. She can be coaxed with food and toys once she has been around you long enough. She will almost forget about her worries when wet food is served or if you dangle a feather teaser toy. Maybe there is hope for her?. Maybe one day she will overcome this but I don't want to make any promises so whoever wishes to adopt her must bear that in mind.
She has been spayed and microchipped. She eats wet and dry food and is use to wood pellet litter.
Taking any pictures of her is a nightmare. The one on the advert is the only one I have of her as a young cat. I have some of her when she was a young kitten that I can send to you if you like. You are welcome to see her in person but please don't expect to be able to pet her or cuddle her. She won't tolerate this. However, she is not aggressive nor does she scratch. She just runs and hides. She may suit an experienced cat owner.
