Lilly is approximately three years old. She was rescued by a charity when passer bys found out someone was killing her kittens. I have been fostering Lilly and her kittens since November, however it is very clear to me that my home environment is not giving her the best chance at life, and I am hoping someone out there can offer her a quiet and calm environment to bring her out of her shell.
Lilly is not feral, however she is wild. She is fully house trained, spayed and chipped, but she is fearful of humans. Unfortunately I have had to separate her from my own cats as they are aggressive towards her, and with a child in the house she is constantly on edge. She is not spiteful at all, and does not retaliate when my cats have hissed/swiped.
I would love more than anything to help build her trust and be able to let her go outdoors again, but I have to accept my environment is holding her back and making her unhappy.
If you have a home and the time to give her, I have every faith she will become friendly, as I can see glimmers of it! She deserves a chance to be able to play outdoors again and have a safe home to come back to. If this sounds like something you can offer, please do let me know.
I am not in a rush to move her. My highest priority is her safety.
