Description
Due to my brain injury and need for further treatment I am unable to give our Lake the time and exercise he needs and deserves. Lake is a very affectionate and loving boy, loves nothing more than cuddles and play time with his toys, he is food focused and has been trained to sit and wait for his food and won’t begin eating till you tell him go, and able to lift the bowl away without any trouble.
He is excellent on the lead and we have trained his to stop at roads and curbs to cross, we have also trained his to sit and he also knows to give you his paws to wipe before going back in doors from a walk and coming in from the garden. Lake loves being around people and is very affectionate towards children and adults always happy to greet you and family with a toy at the door. Lake is fully house trained and will tell you when he needs to go outside, he is not allowed on furniture or upstairs and will happily take himself off to his bed when he wants time out without any fuss. Lake is KC registered, neutered and up to date with vaccinations, wormer and flea treatments, he is on dry food one scoop in the morning and another at 5pm, we only give him natural treats either banana, carrot or cucumber which he loves. He is toy focused and loves chasing tennis balls and catching his large collection of squeaky toys. I don’t want him to go, but my brain condition is not getting any better and I am unable to give Lake the attention and time he really does deserve, he would make the most amazing family member to a loving home that can provide him the exercise and attention he deserves and needs.
We have a very old Chow Chow who lake has been used to living with and has walked passed Cats without any issues or interactions, Lake will have a couple of weeks of food, his harness and leads, bowls, bowl stand, toys, bed his duvet and fleece blanket which he loves during the winter months.
If there is anything I haven’t covered please feel free to contact me, the most important factor is Lake going to the right home, I won’t let him go anywhere that doesn’t feel to be the right fit, and I would prefer to seen pictures where he will potentially be living to make sure he is going to be comfortable and looked after as he is my best friend.
