I'm making the difficult decision to sell two of my budgies.
- Since adding more birds to my flock, I haven't been spending as much time as I should be with any of them. I'm selling these two to allow me more opportunities to bond with my others.
- The first is calypso, a gorgeous goldenface female. When she is a bit older, she will be fully green and yellow, but as you can see now she still has some blue. She is about 2-3 years old (possibly older) and is an American budgie (typically smaller and lighter). She is very energetic, agile, and fast. Her favourite trick is to somehow flip herself against the bars of the cage, so don't be alarmed if she does this.
- The second is Archie/Architecture, a grey exhibition. I believe he is over 2 years old. He has limited vision and isn't able to fly very much due to being overbred as an exhibition type. He keeps to himself and sometimes gets spooked from small things, but is very laid back most of the time. Archie did have a boyfriend, however he unfortunately passed away about a month ago, which is why he is so reserved.
- Neither of these birds have ever bitten, they come to my hand for seed, and they can very easily be tamed if the time gets put in.
They are on tropical pellets, they love lettuce, and have seeds as a treat and for training/taming.
- I'd love for these babies to go to a loving home who can spend time with them and allow them lots of flight time (or calypso at least haha), even better if they're in an aviary.
