Gentle Chocolate Labrador Looking for His Forever Home

Meet Barney, a sweet, gentle chocolate Labrador who loves nothing more than cuddles, playing with his toys, and going for walks in the countryside. He’s a loving boy with a really sweet nature.
Barney was rehomed to me earlier this year, but unfortunately, I wasn’t made fully aware of the extent of his anxiety and despite my very best effort, love, and a stable routine, it’s become clear that my busy family home isn’t the right environment for him, and with his best interests in mind, I’m now looking to find him a quieter, more suitable forever home.
🐾 About Barney:
* Great with other dogs (loves playing with his friends when they visit) and has lived with cats happily.
*Fine with children, but due to his size, a home with older experienced kids would be best.
*Very loving, enjoys his crate as a safe space but also loves cuddles on the sofa.
*Loves being outdoors, especially long walks in nature and paddling in the river.
*Up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment (next few treatments provided)
*Comes with a large bag of his food, toys, teddies, blankets, crate, Julius K9 harness, collar, and leads etc…everything you could need.
🧠 Things to Know:
*Barney struggles with being left alone and finds busy, noisy households overwhelming. He needs a calm, understanding home with either: Someone around most of the time, or
A calm, confident dog companion to help him feel secure.
*Ideally, you’ll have experience with Labradors (or similar large breeds) and live in a quiet, semi-rural or rural home where Barney can fully relax and thrive. Patience, routine, and reassurance will be key.
*Barney is a truly wonderful boy who deserves a home that understands his needs and can offer the peaceful, structured life he’s been missing.
💌 I’d love to stay in touch with his new owners, he’s very special to me, and I just want to see him happy and settled and no longer looking worried all the time.
