Description
Dexter is a blue French Bulldog with a mischievous yet affectionate personality. He loves cuddles and human company and is happiest relaxing on the sofa with his owner nearby. He is low maintenance when it comes to exercise and is content with short walks and a calm lifestyle.
Due to a change in my work circumstances, I am sadly looking to rehome Dexter. My new role requires me to be away overnight for long periods, and Dexter struggles with being left alone. He has separation anxiety and needs a home where someone is around most of the time.
Dexter would be best suited to a quiet, adult-only household. He is reactive to other dogs and can also react to sudden noises such as the doorbell or fire alarm, particularly if startled. While Dexter has been incredibly good with my son, due to his reactive behaviour I would not recommend a home with children, as an adult-only environment would be safest and most suitable for him.
He therefore requires an experienced, patient owner who understands reactive behaviour and can manage his environment appropriately.
Dexter is KC registered and microchipped.
In the right home, Dexter is a loving and loyal companion who forms strong bonds with his person and enjoys a relaxed, predictable routine.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and finding the right long-term home for Dexter is my priority. I am happy to answer questions honestly to ensure a good match.
