Description

Ralph is our Isabella and Tan Miniature Dachshund Stud! He’s highly proven with some of the most beautiful litters out there. For Ralph’s stud fee it is £100 including a free re-mate if your female doesn’t catch (this has never been an issue with our boy!) Ralph has had multiple litters with the largest being 9, and the average being 6-7. He currently has 3 litters on the way too. He has a wonderful temperament, and is very loving and affectionate. We offer all the help you need with mating your female. We do recommend that you contact us the first day of your females season so we can advise you along the way. We do offer Cytology to determine when your female is ovulating. The reason why we recommend Cytology and not the traditional blood test is for a few reasons. Finding your females veins can be difficult and in most cases your female will need this blood test repeated several times to find prime ovulation. This causes unnecessary stress. Another reason is, depending on the machine and how it is calibrated this also has an impact on the results given, so you do not always receive an accurate result. Cytology is a swab taken from your female and placed under the microscope to look at the cells. This determines the stages of ovulation. This is less stressful and less invasive than bloods. We usually advise starting cytology around day 7 as some females will reach ovulation faster than others. We offer Cytology at £20 (please keep in mind your dog may need checking a few times to get to peak ovulation) if you need us to travel to you up to an hour away the price will be £40. We also offer AI with our trained vet. Your female will have her first AI and then wait 24 hours and then this is repeated, if you would like to do 3 AI’s this is also available. This method is done by collecting semen from the male dog and then placed inside your female. This way of breeding reduces injury or diseases that can be passed from dog to dog. This is done fresh in front of you. Our AI prices are £50 each. To have your female scanned and you are local to Blackpool the price is £30. If you are out of the area and would like us to travel to you the price will vary depending on your location. Pictures of some of his pups in the last slides.
