Here is the handsome boy Ricco, he is 11yrs old and for the last 10yrs he has been with his adopter. Unfortunately 10mths ago his adopter had a baby and Ricco is starting to display resources guarding around food towards the baby. This is too risky for Ricco to stay where he is so we need to move him as soon as we can.
Ricco has got arthritis but currently this doesn’t affect him as you can see from the videos. He regularly goes out walking with a dog walker with lots of dogs without any issues and he is also good with cats - the cats will need to be dog savvy.
Ricco is fully muzzle trained this is due to a couple of incidents when resource guarding his space and food - we can explain more to any serious enquiries.
Ricco needs a confident strong handler to help guide him and he will be a fantastic companion
