Description
This is Obi. He is. Chocolate labrador. He is castrated. Not overweight. Obi is almost 12,it is truly heartbreaking for me having to look for a new home for him at this stage in his life! I have had Obi from 7 weeks of age and thought it would be forever.
Unfortunately I am having to move house unexpectedly and cannot find anywhere to take a pet. I realise he is not what most people are looking for due to his age. Honestly he is truly a incredible boy, requires very little in life, never ever has he barked once. He needs very little in life, 2 short walks a day. Superb off lead and on, loves everyone, humans old and young, dogs, cats, loves puppies has all patience in world. Flea and worm treated, up to date vaccinations, chipped. No ongoing medical issue, joints are good. He has probiotic tablets which I give him daily, just to cover all basis with his health. He will come with a pack of these. Obi only eats wet food. Teeth are cleaned daily all good and ears.
Obi does have a fatty lump (lipoma) by his neck, this is fairly common in this breed, as they age. Obi has no issues with this, it has been there almost 4 years, and our vets do not see any reason for surgery because Obi is not effected by this in the slightest. Not preventing movement or obstruction so it is unesscessary
surgery. If any concerns I am happy to discuss further. Overall is in good health for his age, never having surgery except castration, never requiring any ongoing medical treatment. Hoping someone will see past his age and see what a wonderful gentle boy he is.
Would suit anyone from family or retired person, or someone that wants a dog and only short walks each day. Obi loves cuddles and that's all he needs is bit love, food, and someone to give him gentle exercise each day. Health Obi is in, no reason why he couldn't have good couple of years or possibly more.
I had his Uncle to and lost him this summer aged almost 15!
Obi is free to the right home. Please try and see past his age. He is a truly cracking boy with a huge heart and gentle soul. Nature is second to none!
