Description

Due to tremendous reply, all new enquiries will only be able to register interest until we know how many pups arrive. Our wonderful, forever smiling Golden, named Lia (KC registered as Rapskeo Winter Roo of Sunaraelia) is expecting! Lia has had her scan and 7/8 puppies are due on 23rd Oct'25; pups will be ready to join their new family around Christmas time, dependent on arrival date. Don't worry if you have plans at Christmas, we can accommodate. This means your puppies will be ready for first walks in as the snowdrops bloom. More photos will be shared once puppies arrive. Lia is 3 years old. She is super fit and healthy, enjoys walks, playing with our kids and her doggie sisters. She loves a ball, a stick and adores swimming. She has the most soft and gentle temperament you will ever see from a dog. Lia is obedient, excellent on recall and lead; and we expect her to be a great mum again to this, her second litter. She is very good around new dogs, big and small. Lia is always smiling and just the right amount of cheeky, but gentle despite her 34kg frame. In our family, and as shown in photos, we have five wonderful girl dogs, four goldens and a cockapoo (who rules the roost!). They say it takes a village to raise a child; well these pups will have their choice of aunties: Tessa, Missy, Saffy & Margot. After completing all necessary health checks, she was mated with Riley (KC registered as Galleda Mieszko), who has had all of his health checks too. Riley lives in the Kent countryside with his family and has proved to be an exceptional stud. Riley weighs in at around 40kg+ but he remains athletic and energetic and is a just a joy to be around. This mating should mean that families can expect big but athletic dogs that are more of a show-line build than a working line. This is because both Lia and Riley have show champions in their recent bloodlines. The puppies should remain on the creamier side of the golden-spectrum because both mom and dad sit at the lighter end of the colour scale. We have all health testing and 5-generation pedigree paperwork to share with you. About Us: We are Tom and Michelle, we have 4 kids (18 to 28), 5 dogs, 2 cats. We enjoy walking and holidaying with our dogs and get so much joy from them. We regularly meet up with 'puppy families' to see how our puppies from the past are growing.. We would consider ourselves conscientious and experienced breeders, and we take great enjoyment from the process. Our other dogs are Tessa (golden), Missy (cockapoo), Saffy (daughter of Tessa) and Margot (granddaughter of Tessa, but her mum is Saffy's older sister). Tessa is an Essex Therapy dog and regularly sits in classrooms, libraries and the like with people of all ages and abilities. We have a Facebook page, Sunaraelia Dogs - We invite you to join and to read reviews left by families who welcomed our puppies into their homes over recent years, and those who came back for a second puppy when they realised one wasn't enough! We also have dedicated Facebook groups for families who have entered into agreement for a puppy and they will receive almost daily updates and videos as the pups navigate their first 8 weeks of life in our home... so you wont miss a moment and it will help you get to know puppies personalities before you come to choose. About You: You must be able to care for the dog by giving it a safe and loving home, regular exercise and proper nutrition. We expect that you enter into this commitment fully aware of the needs of the breed, but we will provide information on this to help you wherever we can. We insist on a 'facetime' meeting with all prospective families, so you can get to know us and vice-versa. We will send you a questionnaire to complete so that we can ensure we sell a puppy in the knowledge that it will be joining a great family. A contract of sale will be drawn up to protect you, us and most importantly, the dog. The Process: We will notify interested parties as soon as puppies are born or if possible, when labour starts. We won't know for sure how many puppies will arrive and which sex until the day of birth. We do not expect a deposit before puppies are born but we will offer puppies on a first deposit gets first choice basis, so families who are unfussed about male or female could easily pay a deposit prior to birth but they would have to choose a sex straight away so we and other buyers know what is available, this is the fairest way for all. Once a sex is chosen, this cannot change unless it completely works for multiple families - but we have never had this come up before. We do not accept 'early choosing' of specific puppies. That must wait until you have met and got to know the puppy and its personality, which is vital to your future relationship with your dog and we will help with this where necessary because you might not want a pup that jumps up a lot if you have young kids, or a pup that is high energy when you want a more sedate lifestyle. Your first visit will be at 4 weeks to meet but not choose. The second visit at 6 weeks is 'choosing' day. 'Choosing day' is completed in deposit placed order, so when you arrive you know which puppies of a certain sex are available to you still (if you are not first pick). Example; if family 'A' places a deposit first and states 'male', they get first pick of the males on choosing day. Family 'B' would get second pick of males if they paid the second deposit and stated 'male'. If family 'C' placed the first deposit on a female, they would have first pick of females, and so on. Each puppy will be given a coloured collar at birth & they get a name for use in our home until they become part of your family. We feel a dog should have a name if it is in our home - the litter names are usually set on a theme, with previous litters from our dogs being movie characters, marvel characters and songs with a name in the title etc. Full puppy pack, advice, bag of food provided.
