Description

Due to a Health issue, we are looking to rehome our 2 Miniature Wire Haired Dachshunds ( Frank & Peggy ) Frank is 4 years old and Peggy is 2 years old. Both are KC registered pedigree. Frank has been neutered. They would suit an older person / couple, who are at home a lot and who do not want to be walking them often / for long distances, as they do not really like walking very far, or very often. Frank does not like other dogs and will bark at them, especially the medium and larger dogs. They are both distrusting of strangers / visitors, Peggy more so, and will bark at them for quite a while until they settle down, but are very affectionate and exited to greet people they know. They are very good watch dogs and will alert you to any unusual noise. Peggy enjoys chasing and fetching a ball, whilst Frank is more of a couch potato and prefers to sit on someone's lap and watch her. They love to cuddle up in the evening, or indeed any time of the day given the opportunity They are house trained, however, they have always used a dog flap to go in and out to the garden when ever they wish, so they would also need this at their new home. They are on Royal Cannin Dachshund kibble, which we get from Pets At Home. We have them clipped twice a year, and at the moment, they are at their longest coats, as they are due clipping. We will not let them go separately, they must go to a home where they will stay together, as they have been together for so long and are inseparable. We will not let them go to just anyone, and will wait until we find the right new home and owners for them. £500.00 ( £250 each )
