Rhubarb- 2 year old liver and white sprocker bitch.
Now I am looking for a very particular and special home for this little lady and it will have to be someone that is experienced with a nervous dog and not someone who is going to give up at the first hurdle.
Rhubarb is a lovely natured little lady and on some ways is one of the easiest dogs I have in my house. She has phenomenal recall, is very rarely on a lead as walks to heel beautifully, fantastic around stock and walking past people and other dogs on walks.
Settles in the house like an absolute gem, travels like a pro and loves a cuddle once you are her person:
Doesn’t chew and has free run of the house although is crate trained.
However, she is incredibly nervous and can take a good while to come round and this has to be done on her terms. Push too hard and she shuts down. So a transition and a few meet ups may be required rather then a straight view and rehome. I can’t have this girl bouncing around so it has to be the right match.
No young children please
She is heavily socialised and has done camping, festivals and coffee shops however she does struggle in town centres. This may come with time but she is the dog that would happily chill at home too.
Can live with another dog and this may well be beneficial to give her a bit of a helping paw so to speak.
