Hooch is nearly 2 years old, he is the most loyal companion you could ever ask for.
Unfortunately us as a family we wont be able to care for him properly as we will move to a flat and we wilm be both working.
He is house trained. Calm at home, only barks with weird noises or the post man.
He goes toilet twice a day (morning walk and evening walk, and we let him have a wee in the garden before bed).
He loves being with you, going in the car and going for a walk in big parks or going for a swim in ponds, streams, lakes and the sea, as a good labrador that he is would.
He is very good off lead but his re call isn't the best yet. He does come back when you wistle or when you say "Hooch here" pointing the floor next to you and using a squicky voice!
He won't go far from you, he always stops and waits for you when he goes too far away.
He is great with other dogs, he only wants to play. He got bitten by other dogs twice but never reacted... He is a kind friendly giant, in fact he is cat friendly and he lives with a female cat.
He is very strong and pulls with the leash but we found a great leash that goes on his head that stops him for pulling and walks on heel (we can give it to you).
He is great with children as we have a toddler. But if you do have a toddler I do not recommend this breed as they need loads of attention like having another toddler and him being so strong, would be difficult to walk him.
He needs someone who can take him for two walks daily and give him loads of attention. Someone who can be his best friend and take him everywhere.
He really doesn't need to be let down.
To be the right owner you need to have experience with bouncy labradors and be a dog lover as he can be a handful and we don't want him to be adopted by someone who might find him difficult and rehome him to then create a never ending cycle.
We will select the right owner and make sure he is in the right hands.
We know there are people who might adopt him only to use him and stud him as he is a Kennel Club registered so we will make sure he won't end up in wrong hands.
You can come to meet him and take him for a walk.
We will give you his things that are kn good condition.
