Major is a gorgeous 3-year-old German Shepherd looking for a new home after his much-loved 85-year-old owner sadly passed away. He’s currently being cared for by family, but due to everyone’s work and family commitments, we can’t keep him long-term.
Major is a loving, loyal, and playful boy who adores children and has grown up around another dog. Once he knows you, he’s incredibly affectionate, goofy, and loves to play a real softy at heart.
However, he can be wary of new people and may bark or seem nervous at first. He’ll need someone experienced with the breed who can take things slowly, give him time to build trust, and understand that he needs patience before he’ll show his true, gentle nature.
He previously went on a meet with a potential home, but they decided not to continue after he barked so please only get in touch if you’re genuinely prepared to work with him and give him a fair chance.
Major is an amazing boy who’s been loved and spoiled all his life. He just needs the right person willing to put in the time to help him feel safe and loved again
