Description

Miss Red (black) remaining This litter is maturing beautifully, they are not phased by a variety of loud noises from fireworks to sirens. They are used to the hoover, and me banging loudly around the house. They are also used to baby noises and young children visiting. Now they are 5 weeks we will be starting to do some 121 training and introducing them to individual crate time. This is a repeat of our 2023 Weather litter. Welcoming our 2025: Gold & Black litter – the photos of the adult dogs are a mix of Peggy (mum), Dad – the photo with trophies and the adult pups from the last litter. Mum - Peggy (On the Peg for Pearlwynd) is our star allrounder. She is a fully trained gundog and gamekeeper's dog, who works on 3 syndicate shoots doing 50+ days per season. For fun in the summer we train in hoopers and agility, where she shows natural talent. She assists me when I am training dogs - demoing; helping dogs overcome dog reactivity or being handled by junior/ inexperienced handlers to teach them how to train dogs. She is a really asset on the shoot, as I can send her with anyone from a 10 year old to 80 year old and she will reliably work for them. Peggy loves to learn and is a quick study, but also happy to have lazy sofa days. Peggy has completed training to be a therapy dog going into schools to help young people. Fully DNA tested & hip/elbow/eye scored. Dad - FTCH Jake of Blackburn. I chose dad from over 200 potential stud dogs as I decided he was the perfect match to compliment Peggy. Wilson has a fantastic temperament - focused when working in the field/ tests/ trials, but a calm, lovable family dog when off duty. He is an outstanding gundog with a pile of wins under his belt, including Overall TOP DOG at the Kennel Club international event 2023. He has competed at the IGL and for Ireland. He has been a dream to train and is very intelligent. Fully DNA tested & hip/elbow/eye scored. Like the previous litter - this litter is perfect for either a family pet in an active home, or anyone looking for their first working (gundog/ hoopers/ agility/ scentwork) dog including teenagers and first time dog owners - or an experienced handler looking for a compact, fun enjoyable dog to work. They don't need to be walked miles every day, they are happy to gear up or down depending on the ebbs and flows of life, and what you want to do with them. The previous litter went to a variety of homes, from first time dogs owners, to living in large UK cities, to working gundogs and living rurally - these pups have done it all The pups will be raised using puppy culture as their socialisation program and will be socialised with noises, sights, children, babies, hoovers and we will be focusing on firework training due to the proximity to bonfire night and New Years - which you can see we have already started in one of the videos I will be focussing on toilet training in the house and also pups will be fully crate trained by the time they come to you, easing that transition into a new home - I do ask all my puppy owners to post me a dog bed so that the puppy goes home with its familiar bed, to reduce the stress of leaving mum. The puppies will have started training including getting used to having a lead and collar on and sits and following hand lures. As a dog trainer I will only ever be a phone call away to help you with any issues or questions you have across the course of their lives. In the photos the yellow dogs are from the previous litter as is the photo of the black bitch in a harness - this is a very strong indication of how these puppies will look as adults as they are full siblings. There are also some screenshots from our fb page Pearlwynd gundogs where a few owners from the previous litter have written updates about their experiences. To see what we are getting up to and to see ongoing videos of this litter please follow Pearlwynd gundogs. Pups will be hereditary clear for SD2, EIC, MCD, prcd-PRA, HNPK, CNM. So far 2 of the previous litter have been hip scored - our keeper bitch scoring 3/2 hips and her brother scoring 5/7 The litter will be KC registered (Black and Gold theme), wormed, vaccinated, microchipped, come with 5 weeks free insurance, a getting started pack including my 2 digital dog training guides (also available to buy on Etsy) and will be fully vet checked before leaving.
