Description

I am looking for good family to take on both doggies Ruby (long haired tan black) born 17/03/2026 Luna (short haired black tan) born 26/03/2026 Fully vaccinated, deflead and wormed monthly. They have a great bond and would like them to go together if possible. These girls were my forever dogs but I am relocating to the southern hemisphere and its best I don't take them. They have grown up with two cats and toddlers. They come with two crates, blankets, bedding. Toys, food, shampoo, nail clippers, poo bags, chew bits (rabbit ears) £1200 for Ruby and £650 for Luna. They are much loved puppies and they need to right home that will not take advantage of them.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
