Description
Please read carefully. This is my boy, Sizzle. He is my world and my bestfriend and it breaks my heart having to sell him. Unfortunately, he’s started going for my 6 year old daughter every once in a while, this is something I don’t want to risk anymore as this has happened a few times now. I tried the Hormonal Implant to see if castration would benefit him in the future, unfortunately it did not. This isn’t me saying he’s a nasty dog, because he isn’t. He is loving, loyal and deserves nothing shy from the best of the best home (none with Children). But it worries me how he can act of character towards her, obviously my daughter comes first.
Abit of Sizzle: Dachshunds are known for their loud barks, I can confirm, he is very vocal especially when there is a knock on the door. He loves to burrow into blankets and sleep under your duvet at night. He isn’t crate trained, as I did struggle with this. Walking him has became a struggle to me, even though he’s small, he’s strong. He’s also got some problem with anyone on scooters, bikes or someone running along. He tends to launch himself and starts barking at them. So no elderly buyers as again, he is strong.
He honestly means the world to me, I want nothing but the best for him. It needs to be a none children household, NO BREEDERS as i will hopefully have him castrated before he goes (a dog is a family member not a breeding machine). No elderly buyers either. He needs a lot of walking also.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
