Slow re homing required to make sure both parties feel happy and of course Rufus is happy too.
We will not respond to messages asking to “come and get him” he is our well loved dog and we need to make sure a good relationship and home visits have been made before any rehoming will take place.
I have a lot of messages from people with children , Rufus has bitten my 7 year old a number of times and has recently bitten my 11 month old. Therefore I feel only 12yrs+ mature children would be safe around him.
The last thing I want is for your child to be hurt by him and then potentially a break down in the re homing process.
Hello everyone
My name is Rufus. I am neutered and microchipped. I have lived with my family all my life (4 years) In my home I have with another dog and she is very big. I also live with 2 cats! My mummy had a baby recently and I have realised that I am not very happy being around him now he’s crawling and in my space. I get very nervous and I have bitten him. I am a lovely doggy who needs adults and mature children that will help me feel safe . let me sleep on their lap , take me for walks and love me. I love all types of treats and I love my ball.
I do have some separation anxiety’s so my new parents will need to have lots of free time to help me over that.
Rufus has unfortunately bitten our 10 month old. This is an extremely difficult situation. Rufus is neutered, chipped and had all jabs. He currently lives with another dog and 2 cats who he loves. Any interest will need to be willing for us to come and visit (both home and in person) A fased re homing is something he will need.
Price not really an issue we just want him to
be loved 🥰
