Caucasian Shepherd Dog - Loving, Loyal Companion Needs Experienced Home
It is with a very heavy heart that I'm looking to rehome my beloved Caucasian Shepherd, Brody.
Age: 4 years
Height: 6ft on his back legs
Status: Intact male
Location: catterick garrison
I hand-reared Brody from just 24 hours old. He's been by my side every day since, and this decision is truly heartbreaking -- he's more than a dog; he's family.
Brody is:
A gentle giant at home - loving, loyal, and a real character.
Used to cats, other dogs, and older children.
Has had some stud work, but has always been a much-loved family pet.
House-trained, lives indoors without issue, but needs a large, secure outdoor space to suit his size and instincts.
Good on a lead, but due to his size and guarding nature, he needs a strong, confident, and very experienced handler when in public.
Requires regular grooming due to his thick coat.
Not suitable for homes with small children, purely due to his size.
Caucasian Shepherds are a unique breed with a strong guardian instinct. Brody will only go to a home with proven experience of the breed or similar large, protective breeds.
Home checks will be done, and I'll require vet references or proof of experience. This is not a quick decision -- I'm committed to finding the perfect home for Brody, one where he'll be loved and respected for the incredible dog he is.
