Our beautiful Golden Retriever girl is looking for her new family. She has the most amazing temperament, she is gentle and loving and loves to greet you with her toys. She plays fetch, but will tease you with the ball before handing it over to you ☺️ She is 5 next month and needs her retirement home. She is exposed to children, cats, rabbits and dogs and has never shown any aggression towards any of them. She is a typical retriever that she looooves water and her walks. She has a great recall and will frequently be walked off lead. She knows all basic commands paw 🐾
We only got her around 6 months ago but the previous owner did not make us aware that she had separation anxiety and a bladder leak. After a visit to our vet she was put on Propalin which she has twice a day (it’s inexpensive). The vet believes this may have been caused by overbreeding. She isn’t spayed but due to the above she is not suitable for breeding and would require spaying. Due to her separation anxiety we feel we aren’t the right home for her as we are out and about a lot. Although she isn’t destructive when we are out she will scratch her ear and chew her feet, so we feel it isn’t fair for her. She also has allergies which we have finally found a food that works for her.
This really is a sad and reluctant sale but we must do what is best for her.
