This is a really hard post to make, but we’re looking for the right home for our boy, who is around 7 months old. He’s a bright, confident and adventurous little soul — full of curiosity — but he sadly hasn’t settled with our other males having lost his previous cage mate, and we don’t want him to live alone for the rest of his life.
We are only looking to re-home him to someone with experience with rats who already has similar-aged male rats (around 6–8 months) so he can have the companionship he deserves. He handles well, is very people-friendly and loves to explore — he just needs the right rat group to feel safe and happy.
This isn’t a quick or impulsive decision — we truly love him and just want what’s best. We’ll only let him go to someone who understands proper introduction processes and can give him a stimulating, loving environment.
