Description

BORN 13th October These pups will make ideal working dogs, therapy dogs, assistance dogs or even family pets. These puppies will be coming from quality parents allowing puppies to have the best chance at being healthy and live long lives whatever they are doing. Dad (KC name : SHADOWBRAE BUZZ by FT CH BRECKMARSH ETHAN OF CAYTONFELL) is a incredible dog that has many many FTCH in his lines. He's been bred to work and that's exactly what he's suited for. He's currently trained as a medical detection assistance dog meaning he is trained to tell when handler is going into a life threatening situation just by scent so that medication can be taken to prevent it escalating. Along with many other tasks like unloading washing machines, picking up items, opening/closing doors etc. many dogs are not able to train for this kind of work, yet he was able to really get his head down and just learn whatever was thrown his way. On top of this he does distance handling agility where all commands are given at distance and again, he just took this on like it was the easiest thing. He's also done pet gundog things and does scent work classes. He thrives to learn and do things and is a dream to work and train because he just loves what he does. Naturally from what he is bred for his energy is higher and suited to work rather than being a pet. But is the calmest dog when doing his assistance dog work or around kids.. he has such an incredible skill to adjust his energy. Dad was featured on gundog TV showing off how vercitile the Labrador retrievers are. You can see one of the photos the behind the scents filming for the episode and the guy with my dog was a total stranger can I also add. As it clearly looks like it's a romance scene they are shooting. I can try to find the YouTube link to his episode for anyone interested. It's just him showing of some of his assistance dog skills. Mother (KC name : CHAT UP LINE) is the calmest dog you'll ever meet. She loves kids and other dogs but isn't over excited or the kind to be jumpy and in people's space. She does agility, scent work and gundog but her skillset is definitely how calm she is even in excitable environments which is why she is working towards being a qualified therapy dog to be able to go to schools and hospitals etc Both parents donate blood every two months for pet blood bank due to their exceptional temperaments. Just another demonstration of vercitile and solid skills no matter what they are. All these puppies will be having very specific assessments regularly from birth, from how they respond to scents, strangers, noises etc to their temperament and workability. The reason behind this is to work out which puppies would be best suited to what kind of lifestyle. The reason I do this is so that potential owners have the ability to really get a good guage of what the dog is going to be best suited for and be the best chance for being everything they hope for. Whilst these puppies can and may go to standard pet homes to be family dogs, they are purposely bred for doing more. Therefore any working homes will be prioritised and these puppies will not be first come first serve. I do this so that I can accurately help to pair dogs to be the most suited to the home they are going to and whilst you of course have the final say, sometimes it's easier to have 2/3 that would be perfect.. giving the pups best chance at going to the right homes. There will be no viewings before 5 weeks as there are no personalities showing strongly till this point. I will not take deposit till after viewings. These puppies will be exposed to different things in their environment from noises, smells and things to play with. Getting used to walking across unusual surfaces and playing with different materials safely and supervised.. the reason for this is so that they are confident about noises and places they might go to. If a dog is going into training as an assistance dog it's important they are confident about picking up unusual items like plastic bottle, phone, purse etc so confident holds and pick ups are really important. Exposing to different scents to get their noses working so that if they need to do some form of scent training they already feel comfortable with using their scent as a main way of navigating. On leaving all these puppies will be well on their way to being crate trained, house trained, coming to call, walking nicely at your side, basic obedience and basic manners for feeding/greeting etc. If you are interested in having one of these pups to train as an assistance dog/therapy dog but not sure where to start I am more than happy to help give information/resources as there are many charities that help you work and train your own dog. If you are with a charity please message as pricing may not apply. These quality puppies will be exceptional no matter what they are doing. Please message me on here with a phone number to contact you on or text me and I will call back at my earliest convenience!
