I've been surprised with a bigger litter than expected, 10 beautiful and healthy pups. 9 are for sale.
Mum Paisley is an energetic, loving, and gentle chocolate brown Sprocker with white markings. She's 4 years old and her DNA test is almost exactly 50/50 Cocker / Springer. Her coat can get a little fluffy but is generally kept cut back because she's a mud-lover. This is Pais' first litter. She's very healthy and muscular, is vet checked at least once a year, and has no current health conditions.
Dad Tommy is a fun and bouncy fox red Show Cocker with a fantastic fluffy coat. He's a looker and he knows he's handsome. Tommy is also DNA tested.
The litter was born between the evening and early morning of Friday 19 to Saturday 20 September. It's been a big job for a first time mum but she's doing fantastically well.
The puppies:
1 blonde: Purple will be going to the dad's family.
2 red / caramel: their coats look to be very evenly coloured all over, 1 female and 1 male.
7 black: All are jet back on top and on the side, with a range of white markings on their chests and back paws, just like mum. 2 of the 7 are female. Because of their reflex to curl up when on their backs, I don't have many pictures of their individual chest markings yet, but will update the pics as soon as practical.
Mum and the pups were all vet checked 24 hours after the birth. Their growth has been quite steady and is tracked every evening. A further vet check is planned in for around 7 weeks old.
All of the puppies will be microchipped, have their 7 week vaccinations, and be wormed before they are 8 weeks. Following vet advice, mum is continuing to receive her full worming treatment throughout the whelping.
