Description
Mum- candy, black Labrador stands 22” and weighs approximately 30kg. Dad- Blucher, standard poodle. He stands at 24" to the withers and weighs approximately 24kg. https://www.argentcymrustandardpoodles.com/blucher.html Candy is playful and has a wonderful temperament around other dogs and children of all ages. She is well trained and very obedient. Candy is a beautiful dog with a fantastic loving personality. This will be her first litter! And we are so excited. Dad is a beautiful stud dog that lives in a family home, he has a lovely temperament and his full bio can be found in the link above. These pups will be F1 labradoodles. The F1 Labradoodle is the breeding of a Labrador Retriever with a Poodle. In most cases, it’s better to pick an F1 Labradoodle over an F2 because they’re more predictable. You can’t be certain of the traits and appearance of an F2 because it’s a mix of two F1s. Experienced breeders don’t usually sell F2 Labradoodles because they are aware of this inherent randomness. The main advantage of F1 breeding is they have the highest possibilities of hybrid vigor. They will also potentially have reduced genetic defects. A well bred F1 Labradoodle will have a delightful temperament and will be a quick learner. The Australian Guide Dog Association, as well as guide dog associations in the United States, breed and use F1 Labradoodles in their guide dog programs. So these will be extremely smart and playful pups. As for looks…….. F1 labradoodles are first generation Poodle and Labrador crossbreeds. This means that a F1 Labradoodle is actually 50% Poodle, and 50% Labrador. Theoretically carrying equal amounts of genetic make up from both parents, this makes predicting litters and determining the type of coats that the puppies will grow into, rather difficult. It is best to keep in mind, that F1 Labradoodle puppies are a lucky dip that are full of surprises. As there is a high chance that the puppies could take after one parent more so than the another. Coats, Coloration, Behavioral Traits, and Physical Characteristics can vary vastly within the same litter. Luckily, both parents of this litter are beautiful in looks and personality, so with us you are guaranteed an A* labradoodle puppy. The puppies will be due around the 20th Nov, ready for rehoming after 8 weeks of age at around 15th January. They will be raised in my family home, with my children who are aged 3, 8, 11, 14 and 16. Our other pets which consist of a french bulldog pup Elsa , an older Labrador Harry, hamster, tortoises, lizards and Kiki the cat. Every pup will leave with 4 weeks free pet insurance, food and scent blanket. They will also have had their first vaccinations, microchipped and be wormed and fully health checked. There is no obligation to commit to purchasing a puppy by expressing your interest and registering on the waiting list. Our gorgeous girl Cleo, has given birth to 8 stunning puppies. we have 5 boys (two of which are Merle) and 3 girls. Cleo is a 2 year old Miniature Labradoodle (50% Labrador & 50% Toy poodle). She weighs about 14kg and is similar in size to a spaniel. She was born a lovely jet black colour, but as she’s grown older she’s developed a striking salt & pepper coat with silver coming through, and her furnishings have turned a bronze brown, giving her a very unique look on which she’s always complemented. Cleo has had extensive DNA testing and is clear for 205 genetic conditions, meaning your puppy will be free from inheriting any of these debilitating issues. This includes common ailments such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Von Willebrands disease, Canine degenerative myelopathy as some examples. A full list of all tested conditions is available and a copy of the report will be given with each puppy. Cleo has also been vet checked to ensure good health for breeding. She has a lovable, playful nature and is very bright. She is very affectionate with the family and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is particularly gentle and comforting to our autistic son. Twice a week she goes on pack walk with a dog Walker and she socialises with all sorts of dogs of different breeds as extra enrichment. We also have another dog and cat at home who she and the pups will spend time with. The Stud dog is Merlin from Kabokane Dog Services. He’s an excellent boy who is friendly and well-natured. He’s been fully vet and health checked and is also DNA clear for PRA. He has successfully sired several litters of gorgeous, healthy pups as you’ll see in the pictures. They will be raised in our family home, with our kids and other family pets. Cleo was an excellent aunt with our other girl’s litter, so we have no doubt she will be an excellent mother. We aim to provide a high standard of socialisation and enrichment for all the pups to ensure they get the very best start in life. If you’d like to see more about how we do this, I have a private Facebook group called ‘Bettina’s Fur Babies’. Here you can see our journey with our last litter and how I continue to connect and support all the owners, as lifetime support is provided for every pup and their new family. Every pup will also leave with 4 weeks free pet insurance, food, toys, scent blanket and puppy guide and adoption certificate. They will also have had their first vaccinations, microchipped and be wormed and fully health checked. Buyer's checklist for dogs and puppies
Be responsible, do your research!

Be responsible, do your research!

Rehoming a puppy is a massive commitment and different breeds have vastly different characteristics. For more info read our breed profiles. Make sure that you have researched the breed fully and ensured that it's the right breed for you, and your family. Our friends at PAAG have put together some great advice on how to buy a pet. Also ensure that the seller or breeder is genuine and ask alot of questions. A good breeder will help you choose a puppy whose temperament will suit your lifestyle and family circumstances, and won’t rush you into making a decision. Here are the most important questions to ask the breeder before viewing a puppy.

Puppies must be viewed with their mother in the seller's home!

Puppies must be viewed with their mother in the seller's home!

Always view the puppy at the seller’s home with the puppy’s mother. Do not accept any excuses for sending money without a viewing having taken place, or if the advertiser attempts to meet you at any other location than their own home. Unscrupulous sellers will often suggest another location to avoid showing the puppy’s true living conditions. The advertiser should ALWAYS let you see the puppies interact with their mother. Pets4Homes do not allow third party sale of puppies and all litters of puppies advertised, MUST have been bred by the advertiser. Make sure that the interaction between the puppy and its mother is natural to avoid the setting being staged.

Health check & paperwork

Health check & paperwork

The seller should be willing to let you take the pet to a vet of your choice for a health check and return the pet within 48 hours for a full refund if there are health issues. If the puppy has already been health checked, make sure you have this documented and phone their vet. The vet may not be able to disclose specific health information due to GDPR, however they should confirm the puppies have been checked. When you meet the puppy, they should be sociable and alert, with bright eyes and no visible health issues. Read about how to check the health of a dog here.

If the breeder claims the animal has been vaccinated and/or microchipped, ask to see records of these, including vaccination certificates and evidence of worming and flea treatments. It is required by law that all dogs over 8 weeks of age are microchipped and that the keepers' details registered against them are kept up to date. The breeder is responsible for microchipping the puppies and must have their details registered on the microchip database first. These records should be sent before collection and you should never accept any excuse for sending them later. For puppies, if they are advertised as Kennel Club registered, make sure you get a copy of their Registration Certificate before you buy the puppy.

Report don’t support!

Report don’t support!

If you believe a puppy may be subject to irresponsible breeding, do not “rescue” the puppy by rehoming it. Walk away and report the seller to us immediately. Read here to learn how to recognise a puppy farm here.

You should also report your concerns directly to the local council as they have the authority to inspect the premises if there are any welfare concerns, and can take further action if required. We work closely with several local councils, trading standards and police forces and we are able to provide any account or advert details if requested and if a data protection request is sent to us. Find contact details to your local council.

For serious welfare and / or cruelty issues, please contact the RSPCA (England & Wales) on 0300 1234 999, or SSPCA (Scotland) on 03000 999 999 immediately.

Payment & contract

Payment & contract

Never send money outside of Pets4Homes unless you have viewed the pet at the seller’s premises and are confident that the seller is genuine. Pets4Homes has its own deposit service that we strongly recommend you to use to ensure you are safe during the payment process. Pets4Homes holds the deposit until you and the seller have both approved the transaction. This video explains how it works for you as a buyer. It is not currently possible to pay the final payment through Pets4Homes, so we recommend you make sure you are completely happy with the transaction before you make a direct payment. If you are unsure you are making the right decision, it is still possible to walk away from the purchase at this stage.

We also encourage all prospective puppy owners to sign a contract with the seller to make sure that what has been agreed and said verbally is also formalised. You can find a specialised puppy contract here.
