(£20 for both of them) (not sold separately) we’ve had them since june. the blackish brownish one (kiki) is a lovely social rat she’s very comfortable with us. however, pinky (the grey one and she’s white on her belly) is very scared to this day. we’ve had two bite incidents. she bit me once (this was an accident though since i put my finger in the bar and she drew blood thinking i was a treat). however she is terrified. she bites the bars because she’s stressed and when we tried to take her out at the start she ran away and got lost in our room. she refuses to be taken out now and hides. when i put my hand near her and tried to scoop her up she pounced on it and bit me. it wasn’t deep but it was enough to realise we’re not capable of handling her. for backstory we did get them from a pet store so i knew they’d be anxious but not to this extent. we need to give her to somebody who’s prepared to deal with an extremely anxious rat. also im not sure how we can get her out of the cage when she gets sold as she refuses to be picked up so any assistance will be appreciated in that sense. i’m very scared to touch her since she bit twice and she managed to run away when we did have her out. she’s very jumpy and extremely fast. we just want the best for them. kiki has no issues she’s very well behaved but pinky is our main problem but we have to do what’s best for the both of them.
