Ralphie came to us as a very nervous boy, unsure of the world and needing time to feel safe. Since then, he has blossomed beautifully, and watching his true personality appear has been an absolute joy. Behind that gentle caution is a dog full of love, fun, and so much potential.
💛 His Personality
Ralphie is a beautiful, soulful double-coated boy with a quiet depth about him. He has the kind of presence that stays with you — thoughtful, gentle, and deeply special.
Once Ralphie trusts you, he becomes affectionate, playful and wonderfully endearing. He greets his favourite people with a waggy tail, a playful bow, and a huge smile.
He has a goofy, joyful side too, and loves his toys. His treasured red Kong ball and squeaky donut teddy may very well need to come home with him.
As a double-coated boy, Ralphie will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. He is also a total foodie, which makes bonding and training with him especially rewarding.
🧠 Growing in Confidence
Ralphie is a sensitive soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. He will need a calm, understanding home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.
He can still find some things worrying, such as wearing his harness or sudden loud noises, and may choose a quiet space when overwhelmed. With patience, reassurance and gentle guidance, he continues to make lovely progress.
