I’m very sadly looking for a new 5* home for my 2 year old male golden retriever. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped intact male. He is lovely natured, he lives with children and another small dog. He has become too much for me, I cannot give him the exercise he needs and this is leading to him becoming destructive. Chewing and digging. I’d love to find him a home that has the space he needs with someone who is home a lot to have the time to exercise him to the level he needs to keep him happy, he currently goes for a 30 minute walk in a morning and an hour on the evening but this just isn’t enough for him, he’s extremely energetic. He knows basic commands like sit, down, stay. He does not have any recall, will not come back if he hears or sees anything near him, when on lead he doesn’t walk to heel he is extremely strong and pulls so needs somebody who is strong to manage him. He can’t have any soft toys as he destroys them, I also have to buy “indestructible” beds which last him a couple of weeks but then he destroys them eventually. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped and also has an in-date kennel cough vaccinate (these last a year).
