Our beautiful girl, Pilot, is the most loving and caring Labrador who deserves to have the same love and care in her well earned retirement. She is still a young dog and has many healthy years ahead of her so we are looking for a person or family who can allow her to enjoy a full and active life with the company she adores.
Pilot is an exceptional pedigree Labrador who has been fully health tested (hip score 3/3 ,elbows 0 and regular clear eye test certificates). A full check up at our vets recently has shown her to be a very fit dog in excellent shape. As a fully Licenced breeder (5 *) Pilot has previously had top KC registered puppies, some have gone on to be fully trained guide dogs as well as Assistance dogs, agility and Field Trial champions. Some of her offspring now are loyal ,intelligent guide dogs and a credit to her giving them the very best start in life. She has always been a family pet and thoroughly enjoys lying in front of the fire or sneaking onto her favourite position on the sofa!
We hope to continue our association with the Guide Dog association and now have two more breeding dogs which get along well with Pilot. However, we feel she prefers to relax away from the constant playfulness of the younger members of the family and it is for this reason we have decided she would benefit from a loving home where she could relax and have some peace.
Pilot has excellent recall and is used to runs in the fields. Her lead work is good though her eagerness sometimes causes her to pull although stopping always results in her returning to our side. She has recently been spayed and has been regularly checked, wormed and vaccinated by our local vets.
Only first class dog lovers should apply as we need to find her the home she so very much deserves.
