Clara is a very pretty young lady!
Clara gets on with both people and dogs and loves children. She is very affectionate.
Clara is quite an active little dog. She loves to explore, run and play, both with other dogs, and with toys.
Clara is an ex- working dog so she does have quite a high prey drive and has a keen interest in small furries and birds.
Clara is in foster in September for assessment. She will be available for adoption by the end of this month.
IDEAL HOME:
Clara will need an active home where she can experience plenty of lovely walks.
Clara is being fostered with a male dog so can live with other friendly dogs. If Clara is re-homed as a solo dog she will need access to doggie friends as she loves to interact and play with other dogs.
BACKGROUND:
Little Clara was an abuse case. She was admitted into our care some months ago via the authorities in Spain.
Clara had been very badly treated and lost an eye due to the abuse but she is such a brave little dog. Clara quickly blossomed once she realised it was safe at the shelter.
Clara is a Breton (also called a Brittany) and was a working dog. Please research the breed-specific needs of a Breton/Brittany before applying.

All of our dogs have an international passport and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella.
All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Clara has been sterilised.
Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, home check and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
