Kal (Kenxtwen Wisconsin) is a 14-month handsome, keen, and alert German Shepherd sable male. It’s with a heavy heart that I'm looking to sell Kal and I am looking for somebody who can look after him and take proper care of him in a new forever home. There is a genuine reason for sale (for personal reasons - happy to explain in private), we have no other option but to rehome him. He is ready to go to the right, loving home.
He has been brought up in a loving and assertive family and comes from an excellent line of working dogs. He is short/medium-haired and a wonderful, healthy size. He is a family-friendly dog is good with teenagers, also travels well in the car. However, he hasn’t lived with children and he may not be suitable for those with young children. He is extremely affectionate, playful, and is a natural guard dog. Additionally, as he is an intact Kennel Club Registered dog, you will be able to stud him if you wish to.
He comes with all documents.
• Fully vaccinated
• Intact (not neutered)
• No health issues.
• House & crate trained.
• Kennel club registration documents.
• Coefficient of Inbreeding (CoI): The inbreeding coefficient for KENXTWEN WISCONSIN is 0.0%
• A3 Printed Five Generation Enhanced Pedigree print out (see photos)
• Good heal walk – with the collar that works for him
• Trained daily: understands commands.
Additionally, he has been assessed by expert Paul Glennon, Devon, and Cornwall Police dog development officer (who trains the German Shepherd general purpose (GP) police dogs, which the Devon and Cornwall Police use and trust when it comes to fighting crime or finding missing persons). Paul said the following:
“I found Kal to be a very friendly approachable dog who was very playful and happy to give up his toy when requested. I think he probably needs to have some exposure to more environmental situations having missed out during the lockdown but with that exposure, I think he will be an excellent companion and working dog once he has a bond with his new handler or owner.” Assessed on 1st October 2021 in Devon, Paul would be happy to confirm this with a new owner.
Other facts about him: he has a lovely coat and almost angelic-like white wings behind either side of his shoulder blade. He has an amazing personality, massive ball, and prey drive. He loves walks and playing in the water.
The ideal owner would be confident, assertive, and have experience of the breed or similar large dogs. Ideally, a single person or couple who can devote time as he is energetic and does need more socialising. He can be anxious and reactive around other dogs, as he was attacked a few times as a small puppy. Once comfortable with other dogs he just wants to play. However, as he has a very big drive he would be best suited as the only pet in the house until he matures into an adult dog.
