🐾❤️ Looking for a loving forever home for our gorgeous boy ❤️🐾 This really isn’t an easy decision to make, but unfortunately, due to my health and disabilities, I’m having to find a new home for our lovely 16-month-old dapple Dachshund (sausage dog). He’s such a lovely, friendly little boy with a big personality! He’s very excitable, full of energy and loves attention. He’s still young, so he does need someone who has the time and patience to continue with his training, as he can get a bit overexcited. He’s absolutely fine with children, as I have 11 grandchildren, and he’s also good with other dogs. He does bark at cats, though! He loves going out for walks and is great to walk, but sadly, with my health, I’m just not able to get him out as much as he needs and deserves. He originally belonged to my son, but with him and his wife both working, living in a flat with a young child and another baby on the way, they felt he would be better off with me, as I have a garden and more space for him. Unfortunately, as much as I’ve tried, I’ve found it increasingly difficult with my disabilities to give him the exercise, time and training he really needs. A little bit about him: 🐾 16 months old 🐾 Dapple Dachshund (sausage dog) 🐾 Lovely, friendly and affectionate 🐾 Good with children and other dogs 🐾 Fully house trained 🐾 No health issues 🐾 Vaccinations up to date 🐾 Up to date with flea and worming treatments 🐾 Microchipped 🐾 Not neutered 🐾 Loves his walks and playing 🐾 Still needs some training as he’s young and excitable He’s a lovely little dog, and this decision has been made purely because of my health, not because he’s done anything wrong. I just want him to have the life he deserves, with someone who has the time to take him on lovely walks, give him plenty of attention and carry on with his training. He’s not a dog I want to just get rid of. I really do care about him, and finding the right home is far more important to me than finding one quickly. I’d love him to go to someone who understands Dachshunds and their cheeky little personalities, and who will give him all the love, time and attention he deserves. ❤️ Please only get in touch if you’re genuinely interested and can offer him a loving, permanent home. 🐾❤️
