Description

Meg – 9 Week Old Working Cocker Spaniel Puppy Currently in foster care in Gloucestershire, living with an adult family and other dogs. Meg is a gorgeous little girl who came into our care after her owners quickly realised that life in a flat with her and two other dogs was too much. They made the responsible decision to place her in rescue to ensure she has the bright future she deserves. ✨ Please read carefully before applying ✨ We know Meg will receive a lot of interest. However, we will only consider applications from people with previous experience of Working Cockers who fully understand their needs. These dogs are clever, high-energy, and bred to have a job to do – whether that’s agility, scent work, or an active country lifestyle. They are not simply “cute puppies” to grow out of once the novelty wears off. Meg needs a forever home that will give her the stimulation, training, and love she requires to thrive. Please also be mindful of your age and circumstances when applying – she needs a lifelong commitment. Meg is a bright, bold, and happy puppy. She loves her toys, is doing very well with her toilet training (as long as you remember to take her out regularly!), and is friendly with everyone she meets. She even won 1st prize at a local dog show for “Most Lovely Puppy.” 🏆 📹 A few clips of Meg enjoying life: https://youtube.com/shorts/kIqMAxuZ2ps?si=3U-9ZgfUEonxc9t6 Meeting cats https://youtube.com/shorts/FzQeRPJl5Lc?si=5zx_tIDOBQXEDsMs Meeting Aunty Liz https://youtube.com/shorts/7mMNeo9fbeU?si=rclpbAk1J3AAEw7M At the dog show https://youtube.com/shorts/KvJ61U3mg2E?si=ZjExtkR_A03twLJY Meg has been vet checked, started her vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and flea-treated. She will not be rehomed with entire dogs, and as part of her adoption agreement, she must be spayed at the appropriate age. If you believe you can offer Meg the active, committed home she needs, please email us for a questionnaire: starfishdogrescue@hotmail.co.uk (Please ensure you have read her profile carefully before applying – only suitable, experienced homes will be considered.)
