Im thinking about rehoming Lexi to the right person, couple or family. Ill be as honest as i can here so please ensure she will be the right dog for you.
She is good with other dogs and people including children. She has never shown any aggression towards anyone or other dogs. She does jump up excited sometimes and especially when you come home to greet you. She has plenty of energy and requires alot of attention. She can go lenghty periods on her own but this is not advised. Ideally she needs to be around a person or other dogs regularly. She has chewed thinks if bored or lonely for long periods. She responds to the normal commands like sit, stay, off etc and is easily trained on new commands and loves her treats. She has taken food if left out or unattended so this needs to be kept out of reach. She will not take food if you are there, only if given. She will require a garden as she loves being outside, she sleeps inside the house downstairs at night. She requires a minimum of 2 walks aday. She is best walked on a slip lead with no pulling but can be walked on other leads including the extending ones but she does pull at times. She can go off lead aswell and play ball/fetch which is her favourite but she will try and play with other dogs if they come close. She does come back when called but it can be tricky if she is in play mode with another dog.
Again this has to be the right person ill rehome her to and if you are thinking of taking Lexi then ill advise to do some research on Dobermans if you havent had one before.
