Description
This is honestly the hardest thing Iāve ever had to do. Due to a really sudden and difficult life change, Iām no longer able to keep my three beautiful cats. Iāve had them since they were tiny ā just a month old ā and theyāve been with me for 4.5 years now. This decision is breaking my heart, and if there were any way I could keep them, I would. But I donāt have a choice anymore, and I want to do whatās best for them.
Iām looking for loving, safe homes for them ā homes where theyāll be cared for and loved like they deserve.
š¾ Maisie & Heidi (must stay together)
* Age: 4.5 years
* Breed: Domestic shorthair, both are cowcats (black & white)
* Gender: Female (sisters)
* Personality: These two are super close and have been inseparable since day one. Theyāre calm, gentle, and very affectionate. They love cuddles, love being around people, and are just the sweetest little pair.
* Health: Both spayed, microchipped, healthy, indoor-only. Last vaccinated August 2023.
Maisie and Heidi absolutely must stay together ā theyāre very bonded and rely on each other for comfort. They sleep curled up together, groom each other, and get upset when theyāre apart. I canāt imagine separating them, and I hope you wouldnāt either.
š¾ Jordi (needs a separate home)
* Age: 4 years
* Breed: Domestic shorthair
* Gender: Male
* Personality: Jordi is playful, funny, and affectionate once he gets to know you. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you, heās such a loving boy. He loves playing and exploring and is a proper little character.
Now, hereās the difficult part ā over the last year, Jordi has started being a bit too rough with Maisie. He gets a bit overexcited or dominant, and itās made her really anxious ā she hides from him a lot now. Iāve tried everything to fix it ā reintroducing them slowly, separate feeding, pheromones, behavioural advice ā but sadly, nothing has worked long-term.
I did find someone who was going to adopt Jordi two months ago, but they changed their mind last minute. So Iām still hoping to find him the right home. He might be best as a solo cat, or with a confident cat that wonāt be bothered by his energy.
* Health: Neutered, microchipped, healthy, indoor-only. Last vaccinated August 2023.
All three cats are litter trained, fully indoor, and used to a calm home environment. Iāve loved them with all my heart, and this is not something I ever thought Iād have to do. But life has changed in a way I canāt control, and I just want to find them the safe, loving homes they deserve.
If youāre genuinely interested or want to ask questions, please message me. I may ask a few questions or for a home check, just because I want to make sure they go to the right place.
Thank you
