Description

Due to work commitments and having lack of time I’m regrettably looking for a loving home for Max I took max on a couple of months ago with a completely different understanding of his training/nature only to find out he’s a too much for me to handle with work and my children. With children he is incredible, so loving and playful, he loves just snuggling up come an evening too. He’s crate trained, and house trained, however he’s a very jumpy excited boy, which is a work on progress to stop, and does still enjoy chewing things mind, so everything does have to be kept out the way, He absolutely loves his walks, is definitely a water dog! But he isn’t the best on a lead, from what I can gather he’s always been walked on a retractable lead as he’s best on them. The only downside to walks is that he is reactive. He will bark and lunge for both people and other dogs. Which when I have two young children and my other dog on walks I cannot handle his temperament, and I do not have time for training. I do have another dog however max was not keen on him at the start, while they do get on now they still do have their moments and max does like to be the dominant one so I would recommend him as an only dog. He does also show signs of separation anxiety so would be best suited for someone who can be around plenty. But also have time to help with his training, as other than that main issue he is such a loving family pet. Has been checked over by the vets, he’s in great health just a tiny bit overweight.
