Three few-month-old female Dumbo rats for sale. They have never bitten me, but they are skittish and generally do not like to be held in your hand for too long. They are very curious and enjoy watching what you do; with more attention, they could definitely build a bond with humans.
I am selling them only because we are moving to a smaller house next month and won’t have spare room for them. Rats make great pets as they can be taught tricks and are less likely to bite than rabbits or hamsters. However, they require attention and their cage needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent odors. I wouldn’t recommend keeping them in a bedroom, as they can be loud at night while playing.
Please consider whether these animals are right for you and whether you have enough time to clean the cage at least once a day. I am happy to include the cage and other accessories in the price, but please note that the cage is not new and has some peeling paint.
