💙 Lovely Greyhound Looking for His Forever Home 💙
We’re sadly looking to rehome our beautiful greyhound after taking him in from a young woman who could no longer care for him due to illness. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who’s settled in well with our family — but unfortunately, he just doesn’t get along with our little black dog. For the wellbeing of both dogs, we’ve made the difficult decision to find him a more suitable home.
I’ve been told his line was intercepted by the racing industry before he ever entered it, so he hasn’t had that intense training or lifestyle that many ex-racers experience. This boy is very much still a baby — playful, eager to learn, and full of personality. He’s got a lovely mix of youthful energy and that classic greyhound calmness.
He’s great with our other two dogs and even our cats, which is quite rare for a greyhound! He’s calm, loving, and enjoys a good walk followed by plenty of lounging about.
About him:
• Breed: Greyhound
• Temperament: Friendly, gentle, affectionate
• Good with: Most dogs, cats, and people
• Not suitable for: Homes with small dominant dogs
• Fully toilet trained
• Knows basic commands: sit, lie down, wait, and even spin!
• Vaccinated and microchipped
• His neuter/spay has already been paid for (at our local vets)
We’re looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and relaxed. He truly is a wonderful companion and deserves the very best.
