Maple is an energetic, loveable Cockerpoo who we’ve had since she was a puppy. She is keen to learn and loves attention and although full of energy she loves nothing more than snuggling up for a cuddle. She is fully house trained as well as crate trained and happily goes off to bed in it with no hassles. She is use to a busy house and loves visitors! And for over 3 years has been growing up with our daughter who is now 13. We feel that she suits this age range given her energy and the excitement she has for greeting people. She does bark and makes a great guard dog and when I’m home by myself I feel so safe, however it is all bark! She is incredible loyal and has never turned or even growled at anyone.
However, sadly we find ourselves having to rehome her as I’m due to change jobs and I’ll no longer be home all day.
I want to be honest because we want to find her a forever home, but with my change of job we cannot leave her as we have cats whom she dislikes and they equally dislike her to the point one of them has suffered with stress. Not a problem when I’m home as I can separate them, but not so easy if I’m not and with our dog walker we couldn’t expect them to manage this. Also she has been living with a Cavapoo and most of the time they get on great, however there are times when they fight which she starts as she wants sole attention and again this hasn’t been a problem when I’m home to break it up, but I couldn’t put either dogs through the stress or have the worry one of them getting hurt, again if I’m not around.
So with this in mind, we want to find a home who is mindful of the above and can offer her a loving home. She needs to be the only dog and would be okay with cats providing that the cat has a strong personality. She enjoys long walks and great on the lead and is fantastic to bath and clip. She hasn’t been spayed but never had a litter. Please contact if you’d like any further detail.
