Description
Available imminently (4/6), we have a wonderful litter of 7 long-coated German Shepherd puppies. I am not a breeder, so this will be my first and only litter. Pup Mum is our short-coated pure black Shepherd, whom I inherited from my mother, and her parents are both KC registered. Pup Dad is also a KC registered stud dog. The breeding was arranged by my mum as a kind of ‘one last hurrah’. She was a lifelong Shepherd enthusiast and successfully bred many litters over many years, and as a family, we all wanted to honour her wishes and proceed with the breeding, even though she sadly isn’t able to see the fruits of her labour this time around.
The pups have been priced to be reassuringly expensive, but accessible for all, so if grabbing yourself a ‘deal’ is your goal, please feel free to look elsewhere, as these pups are not bargain basement material. Both mum and dad exude all the typically desired Shepherd behaviour traits & breed characteristics. These are dogs gentle and intelligent enough to be trusted with a newborn, but in protection mode, aren’t to be trifled with. I would trust our lovely lady with my daughter more than any other, and there is no better home security system available anywhere. They thrive when active and need mental and physical challenges to grow and develop. The limit of their ability when it comes to training is more often than not down to owner or handler limitations rather than the dog itself.
We have been advised by our vet not to offer first vaccinations as standard due to complications when having the second vaccine if the same brand is unavailable, but can be given upon request. All pups will be microchipped before leaving as required by law. The pups have been weaned on Harrington’s (4 meals daily) but are still suckling whenever they can via extremely well-coordinated mob attacks on mum! They have been well-socialised and handled, and we have worked on reducing the natural mouthing that all pups go through. Efforts have also been made to desensitise the pups to travel, nail clippers, and the dreaded mortal canine enemy - The Hoover!!!
I teach remotely, and my hours are ever changing, so please do leave a message or send an email, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. The pups are advertised on multiple platforms, with a few likely to go to friends and family, so if you’ve been hunting for your first or next family addition, I can wholeheartedly say I think you will struggle to find better examples! Said with absolute neutrality, of course! 😉
