We are experienced, ethical breeders who breed for health and temperament and usually only to add to our fur family as our dogs have some of the best health scores in the breed. We have planned this union carefully and intend on keeping a pup ourselves.
We are tremendously excited about the union of Reiver and Bruno. Please look at their confirmed health test results on the Kennel Club Health Checker - Dufferin's Kilcooley Belle and Kensesqui Foyers - they have the best health scores of any mating union that we have seen. It is so important that families check the health results of the parents on the KC as all credible breeders will ensure results are on there.
Both Reiver and Bruno are doted upon family pets who are incredibly loving not to mention their outstanding health scores. Our dogs live indoors with us and are truly part of our family. Both Reiver and Bruno are a mix of show-line and working-line which means that the puppies will have the ease of training, the brains and the beauty. Reiver's inbreeding coefficient is 2.3% and Bruno is 3.8% and their union is 4% which is substantially below the breed average (6.4%). This helps to mitigate health issues or concerns in later life. Bruno has been extensively health tested with excellent scores with Reiver's health scores being equally excellent.

Reiver (bitch and our family dog) is our absolute fur baby along with her mum, Scout. We have decided to breed as we want to add to our fur family. She has a beautiful temperament and embodies all the best qualities of the retriever breed - she is keen to please, enjoys a snuggle and loves the outdoors. Bruno is a family dog and a big softie with gorgeous chunk and true golden colour.
We have included lots of photos of our pups and pedigree lines which contain champions but, most importantly, that excellent health and personality that we cannot overstate the importance of. We give our pups 24/7 care with someone on dayshift and someone on nightshift so that they are always watched and cared for. They will be well socialised with children, cats and a recording of different noises that they will encounter in life so that they have started the socialisation and desensitisation training. We begin crate and toilet training the pups from 4 weeks and provide a detailed puppy pack with weights, food, lifelong care help and training tips.

Our puppies will only go to the best of homes to be part of someone's / a family's life and we are keen to keep in touch with all families in the future. The puppies are ready for their new homes around 26th April. Puppies will go to their new homes with a puppy pack, KC registration, a confirmed copy of the vet health check matching microchip, puppy contract, fully up to date wormer, microchipped, 4 week insurance and a care package to make the transition to their new home that little bit easier.
