Description
The Story
Libby is a beautiful girl who was bred by us (daughter of our dog, Rosie). She has spent the last year being loved by a dedicated owner who kept in touch regularly. Unfortunately, due to a serious accident resulting in her owner moving into full-time care, Libby has come back to us to find her true forever home. She is a wonderful dog who has returned to us through no fault of her own.
Temperament & Training
Libby is a loving, settled girl who has adapted well to being back with us and her mum, Rosie.
• Commands: She knows all her basic commands and is eager to please.
• Walking: She walks well on a lead, though she can be a little enthusiastic and pull slightly when first setting off.
• Recall: She has a good foundation for recall; however, as she currently follows her mother’s lead, her new owner will need to continue solidifying this training one-on-one.
• Health: She is in excellent health, up to date with flea and worm treatments, and has been well-cared for.
Important: The Ideal Home
Libby is a powerful, young dog who needs a specific environment to thrive:
• ❌ NO CATS: Despite being around them as a tiny puppy, Libby has a high prey drive and will chase cats. She must go to a cat-free home.
• Breed Experience: We are looking for an owner who has experience with Rottweilers or similar large working breeds. She is still a "teenager" and needs someone confident who can continue her socialisation and training.
• Time & Commitment: Libby needs a family who has the time to invest in her. She is a loyal companion and deserves a home where she won't be moved again.
Rehoming Fee
There is a rehoming fee for Libby. Please note that 100% of this fee will be given to her previous owner's family to help fund his ongoing care following his accident.
