Description
With absolute sadness, I’m having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome my beautiful boy, Wilson. This is not something I ever imagined writing, and it’s coming from a place of love, not lack of it.
Wilson is a truly gorgeous dog with so much love to give. Unfortunately, due to separation issues, lack of consistent attention, and ongoing stress and arguments within the home, he has become very unsettled. Over time, this has led to him showing signs of protectiveness and aggression towards visitors or people around me, which I believe comes from anxiety rather than bad nature.
At the moment, my full attention has to be on my child, who is in the middle of a court battle. Because of this, I’m unable to give Wilson the time, calm environment, and long walks that he absolutely thrives on and deserves. Keeping him in a situation where he feels anxious and overstimulated would be unfair to him.
Wilson needs a stable, loving home where he can have full attention, routine, plenty of exercise, and someone who understands him and can give him the life he deserves. This decision has been made with his best interests at heart, even though it breaks mine.
I will be extremely selective about where he goes, as his happiness and safety mean everything to me.
